On September 4, 2020, we launched the Ngüren 1km project.
We are an organization that honors its ancestors and values Norümtu Zugu as its own right, sustained by the designs that our ancestors defended with great courage. Now we present to you our lamngen who with great courage raised this ancestral art that has crossed the barriers of time and the different historical processes that we have experienced as a people.
The origin of the Ngüren School arises as a need to install a conceived concept to solve the needs of us Mapuche. In terms of health for our weavers we must guarantee specialized care: as kinesiologists, ophthalmologists and in law we must take actions in the protection of the intangible and material heritage that is continuously being appropriated by private companies.
